'40 Ford Delivery
G'day...started building this kit early Jan. and was nearly ready for the shelf...
when... I DROPPED IT!..
After much consoling from the Missus , she asked, can't you rebuild it?.
I wasn't too keen on the idea, but then thought why not and do something different!
So with some engine mods, different wheels, lowered front end, some "Custom Body, Paint & Sign Work" & of course a sheep skin on the drivers seat (now R/H drive), here she is... my first attempt at a "Rat" 1940 Ford Delivery.
Yep apart from bonnet being different, any negative comments are to be submitted in triplicate and signed by an alcoholic J.P.... Just Kidding!

Re: '40 Ford Delivery
First attempt, BEAUTIFUL mate.
Second attempt, well, you stuffed it!! but i suppose that is what you were trying to do.
Great work on the rust and weathering, i personally would have left the other engine in it, but thats just my opinion, which doesn't really account for much.
Over all mate, great job, after 30 years, i still have not attempted this look, i will stick with shiny, at least i know what i'm doing there.

Well at least you re-built the thing, my dropped ones end up as spares
First version did look good, second not too bad, just can't get my head around the green bits
