Crazy Ernie

I have just started a new project - Crazy Ernie. This is just going to be a quick fun one before I start my next big involved project.
Here are the main ingredients. A wooden chopping board for the base, some Hot Wheels cars and an Australian bloke - ( found him in a little shop in Melbourne last year. )
Will post more pictures as it progresses.

 

 

The cars need a bit of work and Ernies arms had a lot of flashing on them that needed cleaned up before we send him off to the tattoo shop.

Finished the Bad Boy car. Searched everywhere for small enough skull and cross bones water slide decals. No luck within the model world.  Ended up searching Finger Nail Art decals.  Got some from China and they worked fine - not to mention very cheap !

  

    

Ernie has returned from the Tattoo shop and the asphalt has been laid.

Crazy Ernie the radio control psychopath.

He looks more like a wrestler.

That is awesome, I do have a question, if they are RC cars, why are the red & yellow drivers out of the cars?

Thanks Blat - and to answer your question. It just gives it an extra twist. You have entered diorama world. Here anything is possible. With dioramas you are only limited by your imagination - There are no rules. You could have Ned Kelly riding a Harley down the streets of ancient London with one of Henry the 8th 's wives on the back if that's what you wished to build.

I once got asked to leave the dodgems at a fun fair because I was deliberately hitting the other cars.  Apparantly that's not the idea?!

The part where they were called BUMPER cars.  It was the deliberate head on collisions that really pi**ed them off.
