34 Ford Cabriolet
This is the Revell-Monogram Thom Taylor Ford Cabriolet. Painted Pearl green and pearl white. Not many changes from the box build. Made it sit slightly lowered reworked the boot lid to not show quite as big of gap around the edge. Interior is white flocking on the floor, pearl green and flat white with matt clear on seats to match exterior. I used a different engine though as the kit engine was shit. Hope you like.

Nice. Screens a bit low IMO but you've done a great job.

Yea I know but that's how the kit is, so I just run with that. Glad you all like it.

Re: 34 Ford Cabriolet
I know Dave. I think the designer was taking the proverbial though and it's always stopped me picking this one up.
Do the bonnet sides come off or are they moulded or glued in place?

Re: 34 Ford Cabriolet
The model is based on a real car and it is chopped that severely.
However, the real car is now painted black and sits on red steelies with wide whites, actually looks quite sinister, especially with it's 'Bop Top' in place.

No the sides are glued in place. Only just glued as there are no real good mounting points for it. Tape the sides, grill and bonnet in position, fight with it for a bit to get it right and then glue it up. Let it dry and done.
