Mojovator - 51 chev

Have not been able to get excited about building lately. This is a mojo-vator - 51 Fleetline - out of the box , nothing fancy and so far its working.

Nice blue paint with grey interior, stock in line 6, little bit of BMF and should look good

Tamiya TS 10. Probably my favorite blue. Never got out of building Dale just lost the urge ...picked up a couple of kits but put them down again ....

This easy build has rekindles the fire a bit though ...might even get a few part builts finished.

Anyhoot ...back to it.

Looks promising. Going to lower it?
I've built the Bel-Air but not the fleetline or the ragtop. Keep meaning to pick them up but never see them cheap enough to suit my tightness.

Thanks Fred. I am going to drop the front just a nats pubic hair .. they always look to high to me. Apart from that ...box stock.

Just sitting looking at the purple 'Early Effie' thats almost done ...feeling the juices stirring !!!

Just a quick update. Next one will be the showroom.

Paint is Tamiya TS10 blue with Tamiya TS65 pearl clear over the top. It really pops with the right light. You can see some of the pearly metallic finish below.

Just bung on all the shiny bits now and final assembly...........
