Volkswagen T3 Transporter

Building another VW. This tima a Transporter/Bus. Will cover all side windows to make it a panel Van. I'll paint it flat black just like the Gunze Bug.



First mission , lower the rear end, nest step will be the same procedure up front:

I also have decided to modify the rear "frame" lower A-arms to make room for wider wheels.

Cool as, I love these square-er busses, watching with interest!

As I'm building THREE different VW's at the same time progress is quite slow. But the rear portion of the frame has been modified and I've decided on wheels for it.

Making room for the wheels as this bus will be lowered:







I've also decided to put a Porsche Turbo-engine in it...!

I will have to make a kick-up in the rear frame , but before that, I'll box the frame :

Enough space for "biggies" in the rear:

some amazing work you're doing to that VW box. i wonder how one would handle with a porsche turbo engine and 4wd running gear?

If you are going to build it as a show van I say Yes, but if you going for a shop van I say No.

The bench seat up front is almost done. Had to scratchbuild two headrests from old 1/32 Scale carseats
