Most have you have seen it and for those who hav'nt here it is. base colour is PPG BA phatom purple and the fire was done with tamiya enamals.It`s also got PE mirrors and tail lights, the dissy is detail master michined and PE unit fully wired the radiator hose is bass guitar string.The rims are from a lindberg kit

I don't know what Rocket has done, but I use a thin malleable insert wire inside mine, like soft solder or soft steel rod. That's enough to hold the shape Very Happy

The answers to your Questions,
I cut the guitar strings a bit longer then needed bent them to shape with pliers and then trimmed them to size.

And I did a True fire tutorial on the parts box forums.Believe me it's not easy,practice on anything and everything before you try it on your pide and joy.
