Ballarat NNL 2016
Hi Guys...Details for the show have now been finalised.
Sunday, May 22nd 2016 at the usual Buninyong Golf Club.
Entries taken from 9.30 to 11 am
Sections:
• 2016 Special Theme – “Italian”
• Car pre 1950
• Car 1950-1964
• Car 1965 and later
• Car competition (all types)
• Truck – Bobtail
• Truck – Rigid
• Truck – Open Goods
• Truck – Enclosed Goods
• Motorbikes (all types)
• Junior Model (up to 16 years)
• Other Model
• Military (all scales, all types)
• Aircraft (all scales, all types)
• Ladies Model
• Modified Diecast – (all types and scales)
• Diorama (includes vignettes)
Entry fee $2 per model (per entrant) up to 5 models. Rest free!
The Swap Meet will also be on again, so bring your old kits ‘n’ bits.
Site & small table $15
Site & large table $20
Let me know if you would like to book a site.
Also our club will have a table of kits priced to clear, so make sure you are all cashed up!
We are also thinking of having 'mystery' kits for sale.
Thats right! Kits wrapped in plain paper with a price on it. All that you will know, is if its a car, truck, military or plane. They will be new, factory sealed kits and priced at or below retail.
Anyway, let us know what you think, and if its worth a shot. Hoping it might be a bit fun. You can always palm of the unwanted to a friend
Any other questions, just let me know.
See you all there. Cheers. Tim

Re: Ballarat NNL 2016
Hmmm, The mystery kits for sale deal sounds like fun and I have an idea for the themed thingie!
Which creates two small questions, plus a bigger one.
Is a diorama OK, can Die Cast be used ?
Will I manage to get anything done in time?

Re: Ballarat NNL 2016
Hey Carps...the bigger, bigger question is: will you be in Japan again buying more toys
Your ideas for the theme will be OK: Diecast is good, diorama is good - a diecast diorama might be a bit heavy...

Re: Ballarat NNL 2016
Nope, not headed out of the country for some time, too much going on here.
The diorama is underway already. So much for doing what I planned to be doing today. A die cast car and some plastic, maybe a bit of wood too, shoukld be light enough.

Re: Ballarat NNL 2016
I've slowed down, but I should get going again soon. I have all the bits to do my Italian.
GHard to believe but I actually got something done, looks like my plan may come together afterall.

Italy, Yup a week in Rome for the new cars and wherever else I can make it to check out some old cars!
Good news is it's before the Ballarat NNL, so I should be back in time, may even have to change my plan if Itally throws something else up that I think is batter than my current lame idea.

Re: Ballarat NNL 2016
Looking forward to this.
I've ended up building two Italians. Yet to finish them - Rob's death knocked me back a bit but i'm all fired up now.
