Have been snooping around an antique fair today.   Guess what I found...and all for the princely sum of $5

...and its Australian made.  aus

So what to do with it?  Thinking bright red with chrome strips and replacing the antenna with some al tubing. Black bumpers.
Throw me some ideas guys...

You are all over it Scummy... cereal toy indeed!  I also picked up a T51 Bugatti which is really well detailed and nicely molded.  They are cool little things, and I have a few of 'em to build...one day!

Hey guys...several hours later and this is what we have.  I tried a '32 grille arrangement, but it got all too hard and I put it to bed...but I did mess around and came up with something...
Zakdoggi, the helmet would only ruin his slicked back and heavily brill creamed do...and his quiff. Helmet hair is not cool... Laughing
Also, the bright red plan has been overruled by Mrs Freddie, so now it looks like it will be a candy red sort of color.  Anyway, progress has been made.

Well, its taken far to long...but it has just come off the bench...all finished.
Something different, but not sure if I would rush back to another... finished

This shows the color more accurately...Alclad 'Candy Ruby Red'.  Our love hate relationship continues.
Carbon fibre decal for the grill, and  BMF.
