Mad Max 2 Empty Mad Max 2

Post by Wozza Wed 16 Mar 2016, 7:25 pm

This is my first post on this site, so hi everyone. A friend put me onto this a while ago but time gets away from you sometimes.
This is a model of the Mack that Max used in Mad Max 2, it was done about 6 years ago so apologies for anyone who has already see it.
At the bottom there photos of just the mack just before a friend of mine convinced me to have a go at the tanker....
So after many screen shots and realising there are two different trucks here are some pics.

The back of the tanker was two 66 Nova's which was the closest thing to a HR and I think the top bit was a tail gate of an old Valiant wagon, hard to say....

Thanks for your comment, I'm down in Beeliar other end of town.
I can't say how many hours, just sneaking in a hour or two at night over about 6 months, the truck had taken 10 month to do.
I'm lucky to get one model out a year...
Hopefully I'll have my Fury Road inspired truck rat rod thing finished for SMCS this year (It's a bit bonkers)....
