Re: Introduction
Geez;
Worked it out.
OK, hello fellow members; Clea Smith 66yrs old, sort of retired, old highway warrior and "other stuff"
Since i have joined this club? I have spent many hrs just whiling away the small hours, admiring some of the quality work that I have seen in the various sections. First truck/trailer i ever bought was the peterbilt californian hauler and a freuhauf tank...Five POUNDS each, put together unpainted with tube glue, think i was 20yrs old...maybe 21, just before I married.
Now,....130+ truck kits, (34 old kits just posted on ebay..csmith1949 seller ref) and probably post the others soon, 200+ car kits, no time to do them all.
I primarily enjoy the fabrication and "scratch building" do most of my own trailers, suspensions, chassis etc master a few things and cast what i need.
Great way of keeping me in the shed most days, with stubbies and smokes.
I will try a topic and see if i can show what i do.
cheers
Clea

All I can do; or the most practical way, would be just banks of photos, then if any are of interest, pull the particular box and reshoot. or if anyone wants shots of specific, year, make etc
Then do item shots. Or mention a kit.
NB there's about 3 "OLD PROMOS", R series valiants, 1 x 2 door, 2 (or might be 3) x 4 door, i know i sanded the wheel off of one and was doing a model of my old S series.
Otherwise, they are all going to EBAY

Proud as a rat with a gold tooth.
Traded that in for a 'Brand new" austin 1800MK 2 at goulds motors, high st nortcote....go figure?
This is what I have left.
This is the model i was/am/thinking about/maybe finishing.
These are old american Promo bodies, kits...kurbside, 2 screws. the ONLY R series left is the 2 door, i modified the others.
Mr Norms charger body pan fits well with slight modification, fabing the interior engine bay, etc etc...fairly simple.
If you're interested let me know, i'll take some detail pics.
Cheers
Clea.

Hey Clea, perhaps just take a shot of a bunch of kits and we'll let you know what interests us.
Old promo stuff and golden oldies peak my interest lately.
