Torsion bar suspension
I was asked to build a prime mover (for a bloke)...KW on torsion bars, thought ok got a shitload of bars sitting on chassis, and kit ones in bins.
BUT I thought, bugger pulling one apart, I'll try my own....WHY NOT ! I make models.
Telescoping tube, and rod.
Couple of bits of angle.
Couple of bits of strip.
Few more bits of rod and strip, lined up to keep them straight.
Sitting in place on the chassis,...SO EASY.
Diffs up.
And they sit square, all feet on the ground.
GIVE IT A GO.
Cheers
Clea.
