Re: Li'l coffin pick up
. Here is one I built about twenty years ago. I added corvette headlights, custom tail lights from 53 chevy, shut the doors in favour of a solid side with a scallop cut into the side and red wall tyres. On the list for a rebuild; change colour, restore white walls, maybe change side pipes. Motor is from 53 Studebaker, I think, definitely the twin blower induction, could be corvette. I hope this gives you some ideas. If I did it again I would keep the front side moulding on the front of the roof, my roof I a little flat across the front. I posted this last year so here it is again.

Re: Li'l coffin pick up
Good looking idea. I have one sitting on my bench right now & starting to think about some mods & these are a couple of awesome ideas. I also saw a delivery van version which got me thinking. Good start, looking forward to seeing it under glass

Someone on this site (I think) did a van version which looked very good too. Keep up the good work!

Re: Li'l coffin pick up
Brian,
I can honestly say I ain't got a single one of these kits!!!!! (I ALMOST had one at the last show I attended sat it down for 30 seconds and POOF gone like thin air!) -I'll know better the next time around!
I myself, like the box stock engine in this car just because of what it is, and how they sat up the fuel induction..... Very well done! -I'd just have to add some more detail to the engine then right out of the box!
