70 Plymouth Roadrunner

These would have to be one of my Favourite muscle cars of all time.

This one is the revell 70 Roadrunner kit, its pretty much out of the box, it was going to be a fast easy build but I don't think I know how to do them anymore lol. Its just a bit of chopping etc to lower it and to get  the after market gold rims on, Detailed up the trim with some foil and wired the engine.
I tried to keep it looking mostly factory with trim colour and engine colour etc, think the red body colour is a little different.

Pretty happy with the finished build, if I ever get some winning lotto numbers there will be an exact full size one in my garage,

I've got one of these to build too, and the same set of wheels, couldn't have thought of a better wheel and colour combo myself, awesome mate . And she's not bad either

Great colour and wheel choice. I can not believe how good those wheels look on there..love it.

Plymouth road runners are the only kits I have in my stash that are cars newer than 1965, not one of the coolest muscle cars, but THE coolest muscle car of all time, I also have a couple of 70/1 models and even the Dasy Duke '73/4 model.

They will most likely be the only kits I ever build 100% factory stoic, but there will be some engine swapping to insert the Hemi from AMTs '69 model into at least  Revellogram '70 model.  Gotta have a version of each model year with both 440 six and Hemi drivetrains.  

Great build by the way, you have done the car justice and I think there was a factory red not to much different from yours.

And that's a yes from me too. Very nicely done. Where did the nice lady beside it come from? Repainted and posed I might be able to recreate one of Tracey Rehe's posters of her beside Desperado That or I'll just sit there for hours thinking about the poster......

Just popped back for a second look, first time I cheked here I though to myself "Geez that chic is ugly", she didn't get any purdier while I was away.  

Methinks she could use some plastic surgery.

The girl is from a Fujimi Garage & Tools Drivers kit, you get a 3 drivers and her in the kit, her face is a lot better on the box, maybe I got her less attractive twin sister..

Maybe she's like the gals in Vogue Magazine, got touched up with the airbrush before printing.

That or the crew had too many plastic beers before they invited her to join the gang.
