Caltex Tankers
Probably should've continued the thread from last time...?
Haven't done much since Saturday, dicking around with another toy I was given, bought and erected some shelves, bit of a clean up;
And back into this 4:30am this morning..
Anyway this is the update on the Caltex saga.
Finally applied the home grown decals to the tanks;...I was a little dissapointed in the decals, carrier appeared a tad thick and there appears to be some...cracking? or discontinuity in a couple of them. But on closer scrutiny I think the discolouration may be due to the printer, not sure about the carrier film...I thought I may have been heavy handed on the clear.I might try one of the other brands and see.
" />
Little bit opaque as well, but it may be the printer......Damn !!!...gotta clean up the overspray.
" />
At this stage, because I split out two for the linfox B Double...this will stay as a set, did the lights etc, decided on the prime mover to go with it...so thunderbbirds are go to the finish line.
" />
" />
Two tanks Av Gas, One tank distillate...that'll do.
" />
" />
The wicked witch from the house is back at work tomorrow......See if I can finish the prime mover.
" />
Tomorrow's another day.
See how it goes.
TJ: If you are there.....I'm going to put 756 gauges on the dash......might ask for a bit of advice if you don't mind..?
Cheers
Clea.

Top stuff Clea, these look great.
Can't believe you have so much clear bench space. I don't even have a bench this long, let alone that clean!
