only engine that i have in 1/24 scale is a 455 pontiac,hopeing the 308 is in 1/24 scale.

308 sounds great! Stick a two barrell on it and call it a 253! Wouldnt mind one or two myself. Stick a Big Block Chev in it Allan, that'll fill in the gap nicely!

Looks to be 25th scale Allan, and I ain't no Holden expert so you guys tell me if it looks like an accurate 253/308, I'm pretty sure it comes with a stock aircleaner as well,

Thats looks cool,now that would look soooooo cool in ute,have pm shoey to ask what scale the engine sould be.does it come with 4 speed or powerglide,(auto).that engine would look great in so many builds,

Just found out that I need a 1/24 scale V8 for the ute like old school buick or Pontiac as they have the same v as the 308,so will be useing the 455 pontiac motor that I have,still would like a couple of 308's for other builds.

working on inside,found tub,bucket seats,anyone know away to get scratches out of plasticwindscreens,thinking of doing a 2 tone of the ute,dark gold on bottom with the light one on top,y/n??.

just found a in line 6 with tripple carbs in 1/24 scale,but its out of a 53 chevy,if me was building a early holden ute I could of gotten away with it but not for the HQ ute,Bugger.

Due to the interest here the 308's will be listed on eBay soon via the caster for $24.95, so keep your eye's peeled. HTH ..and don't worry I think it's his own master so all should be sweet
