aftermath SUPER MODEL CAR SUNDAY

The crowds certainly really come out ,only slight rain dampened things down a bit ,but 600 + turned out to witness an awesome show, with a 1000 + models on display including customs, hot rods, circuit racers, dragsters, muscle cars, a dirt speedway diorama, box stock and primer table. After speaking to them the traders all did well $$$,some sealed kits going for  $10.oo, Bargain or what ? all  the dioramas were spectacular, the biggest being the dismantled mustang being reassembled up the wtc, awesome effort. The r/c big rigs were on display/driven outside in the carpark. The big slotcar circuit was well attended ( how come everyone else had v8 and I had briggs & Stratton ) just saying. The only downside ( and it was a biggee  ) because  of the large crowds, sunshine, rob rattray ?   they ran out of  hot dogs !!!  Media coverage in the motoring section in of the WEST AUSTRALIAN certainly helped get the message out there. all in attendance agreed it was the best, with many new/old modelers now really enthused by what they had seen possible. A big thumbs up to all behind the scenes, the modelers, all the organizers boys & girls.  The best in the west..................you should of been there,
