Ballarat NNL 2017

Hi Guys...Details for the show have now been finalised.
Sunday, May 28th 2017 at the usual Buninyong Golf Club.
Entries taken from 9.30 to 11 am

Due to the lack of motorbikes entered in previous years, we have decided to drop this section. Any bikes will be entered in the 'Other' section.

• Car 1965 and later
• Car competition (all types)
• Truck – Bobtail
• Truck – Rigid
• Truck – Open Goods
• Truck – Enclosed Goods
• Junior Model (up to 16 years)

• Military (all scales, all types)
• Aircraft (all scales, all types)
• Ladies Model
• Modified Diecast – (all types and scales)
• Diorama (includes vignettes)
• Sci-Fi

If Bikes as a Category is being deleted, perhaps adding a "Large Scale" category may be a good idea for 1/16, 1/12, 1/8 scale cars & bikes ?

for your idea Paul!  It was decided last night that we will replace the category and introduce a new one  -  "Sci-Fi".
However I like your idea and it could be something worth considering in the future.  Certainly something we had not thought of.
We will have another review of the sections for 2018...so maybe we all might need to build big  

Scott Taylor has also confirmed that he will also be in attendance with his SMS Laquer Paint range - we look forward to that!

I think I should be available to attend.

AND…… I have a BIG project on the go.

Here's a bit of perspective on size.

Im coming down for this down this year for this one. Its been a while. Not sure if i will have anything built for it.

Dont worry John, I'm pretty sure I'll have nothing ready and all my built models are in storage behind all my furniture etc.

Just a bump as there's only 9 days to go.

So do I need a new Landcruiser to fit everybody in?

I must say, looking at the forecast Buninyong has outdone itself with the weather this year.
I'm fitting snow tyres on the ute...

Now you know why I take the Landcruiser, the heater works good.  

It was a good day as always, shame those city boys didn't bring too many models along.

Think it was the biggest crowd I've seen at Buningyong, both the NNL and the pub at lunchtime.

Look forward to bringing some models next year and maybe something on theme too. The Landcruiser may be a problem as I'll be on permanent vacation by then.
