1st I cut the body to add a wedge

wedge  glued in and 1st bog layer sanded

widened the hips to clear the huge Hoosiers and sliced the rear pillars and cut 4 mm out of the front pillars

next to its former identical twin

reshaped and added lips to the guards

bit of a mockup

start of seat and driveshaft tunnel

basic cage chassis done, you can see from these shots that all pedals can move


firewall started

brakelines and multi piece master cylinder in place

wheelie bars started and dirt modeller pe brackets

front struts

start of magneto

start of the air shifter

air and fire bottles

lots of stuff going on including colour, saftey blanket on trans, seat in place saftey belts bolted in

start of the fuel pump

wiring done, pump in, mallory ignition box done, fuel cells in and purge lines run

diff in just needing to paint wheel backs at this stage

cut off front of hat, drilled it out, drilled out the hat and made butterflies. Closed

on wheels mostly done

steering wheel and blower pullies

battery clamps

done

Mate..............................words simply cannot say what you have created here. How much time went into just making the chassis, let alone all the wiring & other fiddly little bits & pieces ??? You made the pedals, & butterflies operate, & you made your own battery clamps    This is not simply a model car, it is a piece of art.
