DTM Firebird

Well, time for a monster, a 68 Foose Firebird, and as it is very hard to get low, i will use a DTM Chassis, and suspension,
and guards, and most of the rest of it.....  sort of got carried away..



After a lot of trimming, i got it to fit... sort of..





After quite a bit of cutting and shutting on the front end, to get the wheelbase right....STANCE looks perfect i think

Now ill throw some guards at it, using the ones on the left over DTM body.




Then add the original Firebird lips






And all primed up..




Now for the fiddly details..

Cheers mate, but no, unfortunately it comes as a V6,  so i am going with the V8 from the Firebird..

Also made an alloy tailshaft, and new prop shafts, a little beefier this time.

Sweet as, very well crafted & grafted as usual! The Benz running gear looks pretty good.

Thanks mate, i think the Benz suspension really makes it.

Well, got some more done, managed to squeeze an exhaust in there, and make a side pipe.






And interior sorted.

Well, got my color sorted.

Car is awesome, more impressed with the amount of stuff that is on the bench!

Very, very cool. An absolute monster. But seriously DeeCee..does the water taste a little funny down there or are you just buying different mushrooms to what we get here....
