XE Falcon GL
Hi Guys,
I looked at this in pieces the other day and I wondered why I haven't finished it yet so after seven years and three days work I've finally got one done YAY!!!. You know the deal- fully scratch built except for the tyres and windscreen wipers. Blue oval badges by MSM Creations and other badges by Mitch Keys at Electric Designs
But first-
I was too busy getting the rest done that I didn't take any pictures of the completed interior.
Thanks for your support over the years and I hope that in between other projects I can squeeze out the other two that I plan to do.
Cheers SS

Re: XE Falcon GL
Had this been made from a kit it would already be a tour de force of showroom stock model building. But as a totally scratch built model it's scale accuracy, crispness of detail and realism make it a masterpiece of the modeler's art. It shows every moment of creative effort that went into it in the most positive and expressive way. Bravo!

Not yet Frank as I've said all along I will make a decision after I have finished all of the XE Falcon projects that I intend to build. So hang in there man it'll only be another few (dozen) years

Re: XE Falcon GL
This was the project that opened my eyes to what was possible. It wasn't just that it was stunning work, and of an aussie icon, but Shawn showed us how it was done. Step by step, demystifying the process. And I can only say thank you once again Shawn for being so generous. It's real easy to not show this stuff, especially the stuff ups, because there are plenty out there in the wider community ready to pounce. But your work, Shoey and others here who take this hobby and make it an art form, well it's just damn inspiring.
Can't wait to see the others. Cheers
