61 Pontiac Ventura

This is the Moebius models 61 Pontiac Ventura, like most of the their kits its very well detailed however i did have a few problems with this one, the instructions are not very clear on the wheel assembly and it took a bit of headscratching to figure it out, there are a couple of optional parts that are not listed, front stub axles, if you use the ones they ignore you can build a lowered model ....unless you stuff it up and put them in upside down! i fixed it, there is also a set of chrome aircleaners wich i used instead of the single black one in the instructions, i had a great deal of trouble getting the front and rear windscreens to sit correctly, if i was to build another i would not foil around the windows but only do the bottom edges, i suspect the foil is what stopped the windows from seating correctly, i also had a lot of trouble with the radiator support, for some reason it seems to sit too far forward and makes it difficult to fit the grille, not sure how this happened as everything fits together as its supposed to,  this one is mostly out of the box, i put different tyres on the kit wheels, and added plug leads and flocking.

That's turned out one very cool Pontiac.

If you hadn't mentioned it, I don't think I would have picked up on any of those issues. This is a beautiful build and the colour choice is superb!
