Revell 1968 Dodge Charger
This kit was a gift. Not a fan of the 68, prefer a 69. (Keep it clean). Just shows how taillights can seem to change the whole appeal to the rear.
Trying a bit of modifying. I wanted the drag version sitting low with stock wheels. I used the blocks that rise the rear as lowering blocks, roughly 3.5mm. Cut front stub axles glued 2mm lower.
Went to fit rear stock wheel center, but drag wheels are bigger diameter rims. So I've cut the centers out of the drag rims. And cut the rim off the stock wheel. Turns out the stock center fits nice on the inner wheel, giving a deeper dish. Also added throttle shafts and fuel lines.

Re: Revell 1968 Dodge Charger
G'day there Stuart...
Looking fine so far mate, nice work. Just don't "General Lee" it!!! (but then "The General" was a '69).
I look forward to seeing this Mopar in the Showroom...

General Lee speaking I shouldn't use a confederate flag. I'm painting in auto acrylic, got left over paint from a valiant job. It's going Sundance yellow.

Re: Revell 1968 Dodge Charger
Thanks. I'll check it out. I still want to master a home built one, I've spent to much time and losing interest. Just wanna get this kit done.
