1/20 VK Holden Commodore Group C

 was this a kit?... or a small model you painted up?.... as Ms Hanson would say... Please explain?...

It is a solid resin model I bought when I was working at Repco about 6 years ago and it was Red with crappy silver painted front and rear bar covers and I decided then that I was going to do this to it . It was just a matter of finding MHDT decals for it . I found them and bought both 1/24 and 1/18 scale sets as this isn't an accurate model of the car and painted the " dayglo red and white " Lots of masking and I placed an exhaust out the side like the Group C cars had . I had to do a few mods to make it look better ( rescribe the tail lights and place wiper blades on it ) and in the end I think it came out well . I gave it to a mate who's a Holden fan and he loves it .
