Transtar Eagle II
Built this one a few years ago, just tought i would share. Chassis has been shortened, but its basically OOB. The car trailer has been a good way to display a few cars without taking up much space.

Re: Transtar Eagle II
Nice work. All your trucks are drawing me back to the Rigs. Inspiring me to actually finish some projects I've had on the go for a few years.

One of my Favourite trucks, and a nice clean build to be proud of,
and a good solution to storage space

Re: Transtar Eagle II
Nice Truck Mr Mopar, can you tell me where you made the chassis shorter, at the back or middle, i want to do it to an AMT Kenworth but never done custom stuff before , thanks

Re: Transtar Eagle II
And if you do behind the fuel tanks it camoflarges the join a bit better too!

Re: Transtar Eagle II
As the other have said, somewhere in the middle behind the fuel tanks. The join is probably at a cross member. If that is not possible I use a piece of styrene usually around 15-20mm long over the joint in the back of the chassis to help brace it. Usually you can do it somewhere where it can be hidden away fairly easily. Nothing worse than building a truck and not bracing a cut like this only to have the chassis come apart once the kit is complete.
