paint

does any one know if u can use polycarbonate like other paint?,its for painting on the inside if clear body's one puts on colour then black coat,can one put coat of black down then poylarbonate paint followed by clear coat ?,have picked up rattle can of Tamiya color iridesscent purple/green.

I used tamiya PS paint on my 67 Chevelle, (pink/gold)
It's rubber like so you can't do any masking off because it will lift leaving you with a real crappy line.
But you can paint the body one colour, just do it in several light coats NO WET COATS. Then use Tamiya clear to bring it to a nice shine.
Also try spraying it on other base colours instead of just black, never know what colour you might come up with.

i used that same color on the capri i did (showroom) painted black first then the purple green then cleared it, i rekon it came up ok
