Gator Glue
I keep reading about "Gator Glue" on overseas web sites . It is used to glue clear parts, is very strong, drys quickly and clear.
I have never seen this exact brand in Australia so does any one know if it is available or if there is an equivalent?

Re: Gator Glue
You can buy from overseas here:
http://www.gatorsmask.com/gatorglueorder.html
They also have reviews to read.
I have always used white wood PVC glue for clear parts. It dries clear and if used sparingly it isn't noticeable at all. Takes a while to dry so you have to keep the parts taped or held in some way. I also successfully tried clear craft glue and found that was tacky and dried clearly, but again use sparingly in small spots around the parts.

Re: Gator Glue
Thanks for the info tezza. I picked up some "Formula 560" canopy glue today so I will that a try also. It says on the bottle it's "The Worlds Best" - best what is yet to be established .

Re: Gator Glue
Specialized wood working places sell it if you can't find one track down your local wood turning club or wooden model boat club they will tell you were to get it I have been using it for a few years and you can get it in different colours and strengths and is heaps better than wood glue
