Window help?? Empty Window help??

Post by ChevyFan Tue 22 Jun 2010, 2:19 pm

I'm having troubles finishing off a kit. I had paint on the windows of the LAPD Camaro that I started building a while ago. While removing the paint (badly) I managed to crack both front and back windows. I've heard/read somewhere about ppl making their own windows. What do ppl use and how do you go about making them?

I can get a hold of clear overhead projection sheets, would this be any good?

Cheers for any help with this.

I have also used plastic that food comes in. You know the ones in the clear plastic containers.
Biscuits is best as they are not dirty.

Very interested, thanks. PM sent.

I will try out the other suggestions as well, cos I'm sure I've got other windows that I'll need to try this with. Need to improve these "skills" of mine.

Awesome. Cheers for that checkmate.

Looking forward to getting this one off the bench and onto the shelf. It's taking up valuable real estate considering it's so close to the finish line. Window help?? Icon_biggrin
