The Workshop
This is what I have been working on lately. Just a couple bits of timber and plastic. I have scratchbuilt both of the rubbish bins, the lids do open and shut. The bin without lids will be for scrap metal and the other one is for normal rubbish.
The boards have been made in a way that the 2 halves will join together for comps/displays or kept seperate to make it easier to display at home in the cabinet.
This board will be the rear of a workshop that faces the back alley/lane (hence the rubbish bins).
This board is the internal area of the workshop.
This is the 2 boards joined together.
Stay tuned for more.

Re: The Workshop
Looks great so far. Great idea to have 2 seperate bases.
I built some of those bins in N Gauge for model railways and some pallets as well.

Re: The Workshop
The bins look brilliant and I like your idea for the two part dio (I originally thought the two walls were going to be opposite each other to make end walls) . Is the hoist scratch built as well or kit based ?

Re: The Workshop
Great idea Dave, I think I may have to copy this one.
On the other hand I have no desire to see Shoey's balls or any other anatomical parts he's been polishing to a mirror shine.

Re: The Workshop
The hoist is from the Fujimi workshop tools kit. I can't take all the credit on this diorama as Shoey put in his 2 cents worth. I had an original plan and after a drink......um..talking session this is what I/we came up with.

Re: The Workshop
Finally got some more done on the workshop and the Yenko.
The grey is too dark at this point, will be changing that.
Took ages to scribe all the bricks, still it looks effective.
Just waiting for the council to come hot mix the laneway, that will take forever, HA HA HA.
Still don't have a name for the business as yet.

Looks brilliant, I'm not good with bricks, so I went to the model railway store and got some large guage bricks and paving, much easier. :-D

Re: The Workshop
Raining today so I got a bit more done.
Dodgy Daves hey, sounds at bit too dodgy to me.
Lightened off the grey walls with some flat white, might have gone a bit overboard.
Comments??
