Brad Doty Sprintcar
Well I've finally finished another model...WOOHOO!!!!
It's the Brad Doty Sprintcar kit from 1987 (I think), which I won (with a couple of other sprintcars on Evil Bay) built basicaly out of the box.

The decals were in really good condition for a 23yr old kit.....might of had something to do with the kit still being sealed from new.

Yeh, it probably is a little different to the norm. Have been a speedway nut ever since I can remember.....even raced Formula 500's for 10 years.

Re: Brad Doty Sprintcar
Yeh......that came about after loosing a wheel 3 meetings in a row . The 1st one sent me hard into the wall in Morenbah, completely destroying the front of the car, the 2nd , was a week later (in a borrowed car) in Gladstone, (car not wrecked), and the 3rd was at the Mackay Showgrounds in my 1st meeting back in my repaired car. Ripped the center out of the center of the left rear, didn't wreck the car. Came up with "TRIPOD Racing.....2 wheels, less drag", and never lost another wheel

Because a stock CR wasn't scary enough??!
No wonder it kept breaking wheels.
