Kynan, humbrol flat yellow, can't remember the number, paints down in the shed.
yeh its not a bad kit ,but still needs a bit of work.
still got more plumbing to do,hydrolic and air before i do any more weathering.
got some good reference pic's of an actual working rig, which shows all the plumbing.

I have the work shop manual and the parts manual for it and many others that I borrowed (old and out of date was the term that my boss said when he caught me) while on my diesel apprenticeship at International/ Dresser if their is any info that you want on it or any other IH/ Dresser stuff let me know. The Parts Manual are great for reference info as it shows all

your just the man i need.
theres a part under the motor that looks like a muffler and runs in to the chassis, which is wrong.
the pics i have seem to run into the radiator, like some sort of cooler, and i think a hydrolic hose runs in the back?
any info would be great,it's been bugging the shite out of me.

will get the book out tomorrow night will post the Diagram for you. The 350 do not have a oil cooler in the radiator will have to look it up have not worked on one since the mine at Queens Town shut down in the early 90's I worked on the newer ones most of the time But they still have the 16 or 20 Cylinder Detroit in them.lol will dig out some pictures of the big stuff like the 910's at the time the biggest in the world

just had a look in the books and at my build model and could not find the pipe that you are talking about for the 350. I also pulled out the scale drawings for the 20V-149TI which is the same motor but with a few more cylinders as the motor in the kit. on some truck had the option of a engine fuel cooler that became standard on the larger models that runs from the rear of the motor above the stall converter, Fuel pump then down to in front of the radiator into a fuel cooler and then returns to the same point then runs down to the engine injector pump. The bit that looks like a muffler is an external oil storage and cooler tank for the Stall Converter (The round thing that sits behind the motor that the drive shaft runs from) This worked sort of like a dry sump and was pressurised by the oil being pumped in it. Like the fuel system their was a dealer / work shop modification option of running an oil cooler down at the radiator, so the photo's you have that show it running down towards the radiator is right for this modification It's not in the books as it was not a factory option but have worked on this mod before as its needed it warmer climates to prevent failure in the heat. I will try and scan the fuel cooler system for you if you like out of the parts book it shows the the fuel shut of valve and fitting bends as well as the bolt sizes

I Hope that this helps you out
