My first post!

Hello all, my name is Jarryd and my username is Drift F.C. I am only sixteen and have been seriously modelling for about a year. I entered in my first QMHE a month ago and won a bronze and silver medal in the intermediate class.

Enough of my life story, this is one of the models I have finished lately. It is a Lancia Stratos WRC in the Alitalia scheme. Well, some of the decals didn't work so it is a phantom/test car for the Alitalia team. I used a Tamiya mud pen for the mud effects and some chalk's here and there. All the paint is Tamiya Acryllics brush painted and is painted the way I wanted, so no real accuracy!

Anyway, it is good to be on here and you are welcome to give me criticsm,

Welcome to the club! We don't criticise anyone's work here mate - we just enjoy looking at each other's builds and occasionally commenting on them. The Lancia looks good and don't be afraid to ask questions and for advice. It takes time and lots of practice to build weathered models.

The build is clean and the body looks straight and well constructed. I think I would have left it that way and not worry about weathering just yet. Here's a couple of websites for weathering tips (not cars).
