40 Willys Pickup

thank's mate been bit slack with this one trying to get it done.

just painted the pickup gave it a coat of black followed by ultraviolet pearl,its a jaw dropping colour.

can anyone help me with a small problem with pickup bonnet,were I filled in the hole on it,I keep getting small pin holes in paint,have sanded it back resprayed once dry they are back.

have sanded the front of willys,and re-primered it white will wait a week again before I paint it again,have almost smashed it if the pin holes come back will put it in my spare patrs box.

well me stumped have re-painted the front black this moring and just put coat of ultraviolet on it no more problem,now me can build it.

Looking great Allan, Can't wait to see it finished have the same kit just don't know what to do with it.

ADAMTEP,it's been fun building this one got clear coat on it the afternoon,have made new tray floor for it as me wrecked the kit one,might see if I have a bit of chrome checker plate for it.

here is mock up of body with deep dish moon wheels,will put white walls on.

Cool - I really like the colour and wheels.

Thank's Bryce,it's been one of the hardest paint jobs but it worth it,these wheels are a better one's then the frist one's

because I have take so long build this one have lost so of the part's looking in my part's stash for bit's to finish it.

working on this one again made some changes to it as me drop the front end

Ah the front end got smash as me steped on it,working on another front.

Better get this finished ASAP or there may be another accident waiting around the corner? It's looking good so far and that colour is perfect for it.

here is new photo of pickup,the front is off the coupe that I cut into roadster,the sea breeze paint started to eat the rear of the roadster ,will be use parts of both kits to finish it.

Is that a Revell nose now?

Yes zenrat its the REVELL 41 nose on a AMT 40 pickup cab,was the coupe that me cut into a roadster.front wheel opens are better now.got it under coated.going to cut both chassis to make one.

started to put base colour on ute when I go a idea how would it look like a one ton truck,here is mock up photo of idea,Y/N

Looks alright, but i'd preffer it as a gasser or custom

the more I have thought about it will be building the pickup,will be looking at putting a coat of bling powder on it maybe a green one over the black.
