T Bucket
Hey Fellas
I thought I would post this one up. Its a Revell T Bucket that I built a few years ago.
Its basically box stock except for the Injector stacks that were ripped from an AMT 55 Nomad and I think the steering wheel came from a lowrider kit.
Its brush painted gloss black and I was pretty happy with how it turned out when I finished it, but unfortunately over time and moving houses some bits and pieces are starting to fall loose, so this one will be up for a freshen up when my bench clears up. Not going to do much different except for maybe change the steering wheel to a 50s era one and change the gear knob to a skull. More than likely i will strip the paint and give it a nice spray can paint job and maybe drop the front a little bit too. I will more than likely wire and plumb the engine and flock the floor too since I am getting more confidence with this extent of detailing.
Anyway thats enough talk, here are some pics. I hope you like it.
Cheers
AJ

Re: T Bucket
A very nice model you've built. Love the old T's.
I've experimented with hand brushing models instead of spray painting them, and also was pleased with the results. I used Tamiya acrylic paints - they have a good even flow provided a wide flat soft brush is used to do the job.
