Rat Bucket Empty Rat Bucket

Post by Antwon Sun 17 Apr 2016, 12:07 pm

Hi Guys,
It's been a little while since I posted anything here so here's one of the latest completed builds.
Started with the old AMT 25 T kit and went for the Rat Rod look. Added  small block, steely wheels, cut open and hinged drivers door, scratch built a keg style fuel tank.
Also modified the dash and added detail to the interior of the body, headers are from a 32 Chevy kit, plumbed and wired the SBC. Rest of the stuff you'll recognize if you know these double T kits.
Let me know what yall think.

Good job.  Not too stupidly ratty.  Just a scruffy fun driving car.

Great work Antwon. Looks like it was build over a couple of weekends, with whatever junk was around the yard. Very well done. The rust and weathering look ace too.

It's amazing what you have done with this old kit, which is the first kit I ever had and built (very poorly) in the early 60s.  I appreciate all the extra work you did such as the finned brake drums and the framing you added inside the bucket and doors, but you really topped it off with your fuel gauge on the side of the keg.  Absolutely spot on.  Cheers
