Allan Moffat

This is my Works Falcon driven by Allan Moffat. the XY GT is made from the Jaymar resin body with a Cougar chassis. decals are as usual done by pattos place.


originally i put paper rims on it, but eventually swapped them out for full resin 'globes'


And the Mustang he made so famous. it's a revell 69 mustang with the parts from AMT's 73 mustang (this kit has a lot of transam parts).

Yeah those were the days - Moffat's big Falcon sliding through long corners and charging up the mountain at Bathurst. Days of thunder as I recall.
Moffat's Mustang is an important part of Australian motorsport history and your model looks great. Is the Falcon in pic 5 sitting on top of a larger scale model?
