1:16 Cobra & Rolls Royce
Here's a couple of my models - the first is a 1905 Rolls Royce by Gakken (Japan) to 1:16 scale. An interesting but fiddly kit that needed a lot of work to get a good fit of parts, plus some minor modifications to the 3-cylinder engine (pics to come). It's mostly built out of box.
This is a Cobra 427 by MPC to 1:16 scale. Built out of box plus enhanced engine (wiring, etc). Lots of attention paid to different finishes of seats, trim, and other areas. A very nice kit to build.

Re: 1:16 Cobra & Rolls Royce
Anyone seen another MPC 1:16 Cobra kit for sale? If you do please let me know. I'd like to have a go at building a Weineck Cobra 780 in the near future.

Beautiful builds Tezza!!
I really like how the Rolls came up. You've done an excellent job on the exterior detailing!!
I have the RR balloon car stashed away somewhere. If I don't end up offloading it I'll build it. I love these old 1/16 classics. I have the Bandai Mercer Raceabout I dig out and work on every now and again.
The Cobra looks great too. Cool colour!
Chris.

Re: 1:16 Cobra & Rolls Royce
They both look great but for some reason the Rolls really stands out , never seen a kit of something like that (built the Buggati Royale years ago but nothing as old and detailed as the Rolls) . Well done on both Tezza

Re: 1:16 Cobra & Rolls Royce
Thanks for your kind words guys. I just wish I could get more time to build something, but my overwhelming family takes up most of it. Oh well I can live in hope.
