Pocher Rolls Royce
This is my Pocher 1:8 scale 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II tourer. I purchased it from a guy in the Trading Post some years ago - he couldn't finish it off. It's quite large at 72cm long and has over 2,900 parts in it. The wire wheels have to be manually assembled from many parts. I plan to restore it one day and will repaint it in black and yellow. There is a good website in America where they manufacture and sell Pocher parts, at www.modelmotorcars.com There are some terrific pictures of Pocher models to look at.

Re: Pocher Rolls Royce
Looking at the upper bonnet panels Terry it looks like the previous owner new what he was doing when he built it !
The worst fitting parts on all the Pocher Rolls Royce's are those parts they are molded roughly 4 mm to long not profiled enough at the front of the panels and overhang the radiator shroud .
Is the Model painted ? If not thats half the battle when you come to restoring it .
I've built 4 of these Rolls kits now let me know when your ready to build it I'm only to happy to give advise .

Re: Pocher Rolls Royce
Sorry I'm late with a reply Sean. No the model isn't painted (thank God), and yes I will contact you for advice when I'm ready to undertake the task of rebuilding it. When we settle in our new house I hope to get into it reasonably quickly.
