67 Dodge Coronet
I figured it's time for some hemi power so this is my next project.
Tropicana metallic green over quicksilver metallic with an airbrushed blood orange pinstripe which is the same colour as the hemi block. Blood orange is a dupont centari base tinter. Still needs a few clear coats and a polish.

Is this inspired by Chip Foose, being a 2 tone, your 1st 2 tone isn't it?

Re: 67 Dodge Coronet
Yeah this is my first 2 tone beno. To be honest I was inspired more by the box art. I'm not really a fan of 2 tone paint jobs but i wanted to do something a little different. I would never have a 2 tone car for real. This is kinda an upside down version of the box art with a different colour. I wanted the stripe to tie in somehow and figured if it was the same colour as the hemi donk it would say "Hemi" without a badge to do so. The stripe colour was picked first then I chose a body colour to complement it.

Great stuff, nice choice of colours.
You got a massive job ahead,

Nah she's all good shoey. Pretty smooth already so it won't take that much to sort once it gets cleared.

Re: 67 Dodge Coronet
It's been ages but i have finally gotten some more done to post progress.
The donk. My first elephant.
I used a detail master flex fan kit and dizzy kit, a set of shoeys alloy pulleys and wired the alternator and starter. Leads are in correct firing order... Can't help myself. Might still add fuel lines yet. The fan belt is made from rubber electrical tape cut into a thin strip and joined up to make the loop.

Re: 67 Dodge Coronet
Good job.
Wouldn't worry about fuel lines if the air cleaner is glued in place.
