What is the best tape for masking 2 tone paint jobs ? I need to do curves as well as straights. I've got these 2 projects i need to do & i don't want to stuff up the paint jobs. Suggestions please. Thanks.

I use Tamiya, but I've never done anything like that, the only other thing I do is after masking i airbrush some clear around the edges, to help stop the colour running under the tape.
Or you could get some decals printed?

Good luck with it

Iuse blue painters tape, cut down with the scalpel, had mixed results, sometimes perfect and unfortunately sometimes it has blead on me, what ever you use make sure you smooth the edges with the back of your thumb nail, just to make sure it sits down properly, good luck mate, not as easy as it seems sometimes, particularly over curves.

Got a couple of those, one's still sealed, kinda' wonder if I'll ever get to build them. Have got a couple of projects in mind with the engines.

Bit difficult to rob the engines out of something that may never get re released. Time will tell I guess.

I use Tamiya tape and swear by it, but Red Roo have just started stocking 1,2 and 3mm fineline tape @ $5.00 a roll!...check here
