Re: 67' Plymouth GTX * TURBO UPDATE*
I think you may need to go a couple of sizes bigger with the turbos, those two look a tad small to me.

Re: 67' Plymouth GTX * TURBO UPDATE*
Thanks PTEAZA, that is an awsome hemi they're building, very talented shop from what i can see, here is an update, just painted the colours, will clear it tomorrow after work i think.A bit of blushing but that will fix easy enough, I'm gonna call this baby "THE INTIMIDATOR", I think it would have that effect if you saw it in your mirror. ( the first photo is true to colour, its the redest red the paint shop could do for me.)PTEAZA wrote:SWEEET,you should check out Southern Rod and Custom's web site.

As usual ..very nice work. If this what you build when you have the CBF's ...look out when you get back into it.

Re: 67' Plymouth GTX * TURBO UPDATE*
Great looking build, How are you going to make the exhaust pipes from the turbo to the heads off the engine block?

Re: 67' Plymouth GTX * TURBO UPDATE*
Thanks guys,
the induction pipes will draw from the top of the intercooler, then i will fabricate (hopefully), an exhaust system from the turbo's back, and exit as side pipes.
Hope this helps MATE, if your still confused, SO AM I!
I have put the extractors on the wrong sides so they point forward, coupled into the turbo's, which will then plumb into an intercooler thenYugster wrote:Great looking build, How are you going to make the exhaust pipes from the turbo to the heads off the engine block?

Re: 67' Plymouth GTX * TURBO UPDATE*
Finally, nearly done, this bi*#h has fought me all the way, amazing how you can test fit things so many times, yet after you paint it, nothing will fit any more! Had to strip the bonnet and add a scoop coz the bugga would not clear the engine after it was painted, here is a couple of updated pics, will be finished and posted tomorrow.
4 link rear, stainless exhaust with a pair of huge side pipe mufflers.
Twin turbo HEMI, finally installed.
will be done tonight, even if i don't sleep!!
