Re: '32 Roadster Track Nose
Looking real good Mr. Nota, keep up the good work - Allan, don't tell him to go the midget look or he will raid my spares again. ( only joking Brian ).

Re: '32 Roadster Track Nose
I always saw myself as a recycler rather than a parts raider.. anyway the midget screens are not the right shape (I checked) ... I think you might have a Tamiya Super 7 though. Jokes aside I will probably stick with the curve screen to keep the lines going

Re: '32 Roadster Track Nose
Quick update
The back of the cockpt has been cut back 4mm to give it a more balanced look.
The screen is trimmed & the carby cutout done...they were two nervy cuts I tell you! The screen will get a central support to hide the cut
Also had my first go at frenching the rear number plate. Just a little more cleaning up around the plate then its ready for paint.
Only thing left to work out is the front lights
Have a good weekend everyone
Brian

Re: '32 Roadster Track Nose
Sweet.
I guess you get in by sitting on the body above the rear wheel and then swinging your legs over?

Re: '32 Roadster Track Nose
Still working on this one & enjoying it.
After the paint went on the old external exhaust looked out of place so I'm looking at ideas to treat the hole in the side with some help from the Silver Fox. Tried a variety of chrome strips & vanes but they didn't match in with the hole shape & pin-striping (or were too hard to make)
What do you think Bruce?

Looks alright Brian - you are a good judge of what works and what don't work, so if it looks alright to you then it will be fine.

Re: '32 Roadster Track Nose
For the head lights, might I suggest a bracket mounted to the only exposed section of the chassis above the front axle.

Re: '32 Roadster Track Nose
Thanks for the comments everyone
Will go with the mesh & keep it clean. I have a pair of original headlights like the ones on the Black T I posted in the Showcase. They fit just where you suggested Frank. I also have a pair of chrome bullets as an option. I'll wait & get it together a bit more before I make a decision. I started out thinking I would feature chrome hilights to go with the wheels but as the paint has developed the chrome is getting less important - makes it interesting. Lot of detail work still to do plus a complete repaint on the other side so its still a way off finished

Re: '32 Roadster Track Nose
That is Very VERY nice Brian! I really like that paint scheme and the Pinstripe is a nice subtle "perfection" in my opinion.
The mesh looks great too.
Hope to see it in the Showcase soon.

Re: '32 Roadster Track Nose
I think Allan said it................That's wild!!!
Love the body styling with the track nose.
Just my opinion, but I liked the side exhaust and the wrap around windscreen............that did it for me.
Lookin' real god.
Cheers
