Shop Truck
Here my shop truck. This '57 Mercury M100 is based on the Modelhaus M100 resin kit. The engine is from RMOM. The big n little white walls sit on turned aluminum slat lake cabs. The rims are turned on my lathe.

Re: Shop Truck
Very good. Nice to see something different. Is this a complete kit or did you need to add donor parts?

Fred,
this kit includes cab with bed sides and open hood, bed floor, hood, tailgate, firewall, radiator, interior with tub, dash, and steering wheel, front and rear bumpers, grille and headlights, parking lights, taillights, hubcaps, wheels, wheelbacks, T-428 tires (white wall street tires) , chassis, and glass. This is the Canadian version of the '57 Ford pickup. Modelhaus sell this kit for 88USD. You need only an enigne of your choice. The engine that I used is from Replicas Miniatures of Maryland. It has an McCollough (I think wrong spelled) centrifugal blower. This engine was orignial in the old amt '63 Ford from the early sixties and it fits the Mercury perfectly. I also change the rims and the tires.
I got the inspiration for the model from this Mercury M100

Re: Shop Truck
Love those old pickups. Nice work! But for a shop truck it needs something in that bed....engine block...axle...tool box...

Re: Shop Truck
First time I've laid eyes on one of these Merc pickups. Love your work and the trailer combo is perfectly suited to the vehicle. Looks much better carrying some items in the bed too. Great job!
