Chopped Revell '32 Sedan
G'day folks, this is my first posting on this forum.
This is Revell kit I finished not long ago, as is the diorama.
The kit is the Revell '32 Sedan and except for the chop and a bit of engine detailing, is more or less straight out of the box.
The colour is a hardware rattle can paint called "Corn Yellow" which you cannot get any more.
If you look closely you will see a little bit of fine spider web near the back left wheel. I must take it on the road more often!
Thanks for looking and I look forward to any comments. Renfrey aka the bodgie

Re: Chopped Revell '32 Sedan
I've thought about this one and now I know what I like so much about this one..........it's the colour. You don't see its used much and it really works on this car, great work mate.

Re: Chopped Revell '32 Sedan
Thanks for the comments. Feed back, good or bad is always
a great help. Inspires one to do more, and do it better.
Is there any one out there that has built this kit and has had problems installing the side valve engine as compared with the OHV donk? I had to modify the engine mounts because the way the side valve went in it caused a fouling with the front tie rod. Could have been my not doing things properly or a design issue.
Thanks again...the bodgie

Re: Chopped Revell '32 Sedan
Looks great. Regarding the engine problem, I swapped the Hemi motor from the 5 window into the roadster and discovered that although the models are based on the same tooling there are minor differences and the engine swap was not as easy as I thought.
