Western Star started by a friend finished by me.
Hi recieved this part built Western Star amongst some models given to me by a deceased freind wife. Chasiss built and painted, Cab painted and assembled. Was missing the engine, which i sourced from another kit. I mounted the fuel tanks(which my freind had made.) Had to use tank stems from 2 other kits.Finished putting it together. Made the number plates PJS Pide ( Paul Jones Pride) Finished it as a tribute to him for my collection.Really pleased how it turned out.
Paul,
has been gone for a long time now. Only really had the time and chance to finish it now.
He was anexcellent model builder and did a lot of scratch building, especially of logging trailers. Might post some pics of some of the unfinished ones he had made. When I get the time. The plan is to eventually finish them, however working them out will not be easy.
cheers

A nice looking build - sorry about the story behind it, but it is great that you finished it for him.
