GTP Mustang
One out of the box by Monogram. This one turned out better then I thought it would. The molding is sort of crude but looks OK when you put it all together. The only thing I had trouble with was working out where to mask the blue. It had to line up against the decals (which were old & discoloured) so I put the stripes on then couldn't mask over them without damaging them, which I did, so there are no photos of the right hand side!! Any clues to beating this problem would be appreciated.
Thanks for looking

Re: GTP Mustang
Very nice.
Maybe clear over the decals before masking?

Re: GTP Mustang
I like it, you could put the decals on after painting the blue, you could photocopy the decals and use the copy to help line up the masking

Re: GTP Mustang
Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll try the photocopy idea. I tried cutting the decals close & bending them over the body but they were too thick & I couldn't tape them so the paper copy should work.
