Army T
Hi guys,
This is one a recently completed, I started with this kit
It's been lowered, by moving the front axle forward, and replacing the rear section of the frame.
The engine is from my spares box, the air intakes are eyelets from a craft store.
I added spark plug leads, and replaced the radiator hoses, and the exhaust is from my parts box.
The rear tyres and rims are resin I got a few years ago, the front rims are from a stock car, the front tyres are from the kit.
the radiator had a 1/35 scale gas masked added to the front.
the rear diff is from a peterbuilt 359.
the gear shift is a 1/35 scale grenade on a pin, and the dash is photo etch & paper, and the moon pedal is from Kerroby models,
I added a floor as the kit didn't have one.
The rear frame is a mix of parts, the fuel tank is from the peterbuilt kit also, and the cap is from a watch winder.
The tail lights are missiles from a helicopter kit with red craft gems as the lights.
And this is what I ended up with..

Re: Army T
Nice! Great job! love all the small details that you mentioned. Once you notice them they make it stand out even more. I've got a 32 ford that I kind of want to look like that hopefully it comes out just as good as what you've done

Re: Army T
That's cool Blat, great idea. I like the heavy wheels, they suit the theme and all the little touches set it off. My 50 pick-up build is going along the same theme and I'm hoping to have similar "little touches" within the Army theme too.
