Dodge Charger police car
Hi Guys, this is the Dodge my daughter is building moved up to the workshop as suggested by Allan. She is using the Testors Lincoln Mint kit and building it OOB. She has converted the dash to RHD.
This is it half way there and the next is it just about done.
Body was primed, painted gloss white and then made templates for where the decals go and masked out for the black.
The decals are from the Italeri Volvo VN 780 kit and the paint scheme is made up from both Aussie and American police cars. She will be using a light bar supplied by Allan on the roof and Auslowe marker lights in the grill.
She still has to decide on what text, badging etc she wants on it and has to get those decals made before clear coating and final assembly.
Thanks for looking.

I was tossing up between it and the new Revell 300C SRT8 with the lambo doors, but I decided to mod the 300C at a later date.

Re: Dodge Charger police car
Just an update on my car. I have finally had the chance to get around to putting the decals on my car. I am happy with how they have turned out and think that the result is what I was after.
In this picture you can just see the blue fleck I put onto the black before the decals.
Newer update: I have been doing some more work on my car, finally being able to put some more of the finishing touches on.
My dash board is almost complete.
Begun work on my lights. In my headlights I am going to put blue and red flashing lights in as well to add to the effect.

Re: Dodge Charger police car
Hi guys, just an update on my police car.
I am close to finalising the interior details. I have put in two, two way radios. One is on the dash board, under the steering wheel and the other is located on the centre console. I have also put in the laptop as you can see.
I also plan to put a fire extinguisher in behind the centre console.
I have also done some work on my lights. The lights on the top are almost complete. I just have to paint the base and add some brackets for a couple or aerials. I have also placed some blue and red lights where the headlights and taillights are, and a couple of lights on the parcel shelf.
I hope to have this model finished by the Wagga show. Thanks for looking, Ronnie.
