Comet x 2
When I did my Aerodyne in Comet colours, I got an extra couple of sheets of decals and gave 1 set to a mate and this is what he came up with.
It's based on this truck which has had several slight changes in appearance over the years.
I'm pretty sure it's based on the re released orange KW123? kit. Auslowe bullbar, rims and hubs, rh dash, stoneguard and bits and pieces.
The pipework for the roof mounted air intakes is scratch built as is the roof spoiler, J steps and brackets. The tanks are real alloy from Auslowe.
Couldn't resist a few pics of it along side mine.
Makes me think that I might have to redo my tanks! And the front hubs - I'll stop looking now before I find more to do!
