68 plymouth road runner pro street
Hi found this kit way back in the cupboard on the weekend that I started few years now and decided to play with the motor set up while watching tv last night. Am using the DOHC 426 for something a bit different and keeping with the theme am using the fuel injection set-up out of the amt 71 plymouth duster street machine kit and scratch built the lower manifold to mate it to the heads . Modified an alternator from the parts box that runs off the crank to keep it low and will modify the water pump to simulate an electric pump. Have also drilled out the pulleys for the cam drive for a bit more realistic look. This one will be a bit of a different pro street in the way of using a bench seat in the front than the more traditional buckets for that fun for all the family aspect. Cheers and thanks for looking Steve. Any comments welcome

Nice work Steve. Engine detail is cool and is that Magenta paintwork mate?
Great job so far.

Hi Antwon thanks for your reply. The paint is actually duplicolor regency red pearl but due to using my phone and indoor lighting the colour didn't really show through. Hope to take a few pics when the sun comes out. Cheers Steve

Re: 68 plymouth road runner pro street
Thanks everyone for your replies. Hope to have a bit done this weekend if I don't get side tracked. I pulled out all my road runners that I have six all up and my superbees seven which comes to 13 kits all spread out, all but 2 have been started, trying to work out what I'm going to do with each one. Cheers Steve

Steve, if I thought I'd live long enough I'd have the same, half a dozen of each of the iconic Mopars, Cudas, Runners, Bees etc etc all done a different way/style.

Hi 70cudatj know what you're saying thats why I decided to pull them all out so I could do basically an assembly line so I dont loose interest in a particular build and so far seems to be working. Cheers Steve
