Re: 34 Ford Pickup
I don't want to tell you how to build your model Dave, but IMHO it looked heaps better in grey. I think the calf shit yellow clashes a bit with the orange.
I don't mean to be negative, but it's such a killer project that I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't say anything.

Re: 34 Ford Pickup
Re-lived my old trade of exhaust fitting and made up a set of engine pipes into a collector cone. I made the engine pipes from 2mm alloy tube and the collector cone from 3mm tube. All in place ready for fitment into the chassis. I decided on a simple single exhaust system. The remainder will be done when the engine is finally mounted in the chassis. Fabricated an alternator bracket and mounted it.
Body and chassis finally painted today, drying in the booth. The home stretch is looking closer.

Re: 34 Ford Pickup
Chassis almost completed. Exhaust finished. I used a muffler out of the spare parts tray and bent up 2.4mm alloy tubing for the connecting pipe and tailpipe. Turned out well I thought. I made the shock absorbers from paper clips and alloy tubing.
It is now finished. Proceed to the Showroom for more photos.
